Good Chicken Award Update

In 2010, the University of Winchester were awarded a Good Chicken Award for their chicken. In 2017 the Good Chicken Award criteria was updated in line with the Better Chicken Commitment with additional asks including use of a slower growing breed and controlled atmosphere stunning which are key to improved welfare. The University of Winchester have not yet made a commitment to the Better Chicken Commitment.
